This watch is about as good as it gets and is a perfect gift for someone who loves the beautiful simplicity of mechanical watches. It’s a 37mm manually wound three-hander that punches way above its weight class, especially when you look at the finishing on the movement and the dial. For less than five grand, it’s a no-brainer.
Patek Philippe Steel Watches
Steel Patek Phillipe watches are the holiest of holy grails in the watch world, which makes it exceedingly unlikely that most of us mortal folk will own any in our lifetime. Fear not, though, because the inimitable John Goldberger has compiled this fantastic book that contains beautiful images of 177 steel Pateks to fawn over, along with historical information about the watches and the brand.
