Happy day-before-Valentine’s Day, ladies and gents! If you’re looking for some last minute gift options for the vintage watch lover in your life, you have certainly come to the right place. This week we’ve got some real gems, including a demure gold Rolex, a big and brash Universal Genève, and a dual-crown Longines diver. Let’s get right into it!

1967 Rolex Date Ref. 6624

If you’ve got a small wrist and you’re jonesing for a gold Rolex, then look no further than this beauty! Despite its 30mm diameter, this Rolex Date still has a good amount of weight to it thanks to the solid gold case and rivet bracelet. The dart-shaped indices and alpha hands are wonderful to look at, the writing on the dial is present but not overpowering, and you can never really go wrong with the classic Cyclops crystal. This little guy still packs a big punch and you can check it out here.

And now for something completely different: a 41mm, white dial UG chronograph with the added bonus of a 24-hour bezel that can be used to track a second timezone. This is the kind of watch that you can easily get lost in if you’re not careful, with its highly detailed dial and bold style. There’s a lot going on, but the end result is a watch that’s exceptionally readable thanks to the black on white design and the funky blue hands in the sub-dials. 1960s Longines Diver Ref. 7150-2

I’m a sucker for a two-crown dive watch. To be honest, I’m not even sure exactly why, but there’s something about the design that always catches my eye when they come along. This beautiful Longines is as good as it gets if you’re looking for a diver with an inner timing bezel controlled by an additional crown. This piece isn’t just beautiful on the outside either – in the early to mid ’60s Longines upgraded these watches with greater water resistance and a robust automatic movement that ran at a higher beat than its predecessors.
