The Zürich Weltzeit travel watch has been a fan-favorite NOMOS for years, with its unusual design and legible combination of a large city ring and a 24-hour home time indicator at three o’clock. Today we’re getting a limited edition Weltzeit dedicated to (and only available in) Singapore. The special watch actually comes in two different configurations, with the 50-piece set split between the two. So let’s take a closer look.

There are a few traits actually shared by the two versions of the Zürich Weltzeit Singapore. First off, you’ll notice that Singapore is prominently featured on the city ring in red text. It’s in the spot between Bangkok and Tokyo that is occupied by Hong Kong on the other versions of the Weltzeit. Additionally, the small home logo at three o’clock has been replaced with a red dot, a nod to Singapore’s nickname, “the little red dot.” This is further complemented by a red hand on the running seconds sub-dial at six o’clock. Technically speaking, the watches are identical to their less geographically specific siblings, with 39.9mm cases and in-house caliber DUW 5201 movements.

But now on to what makes these two watches different. First up is the more unusual of the two, which features a brand new salmon-colored dial. This is a hue that can be found in vintage watches, especially those from the 1930s and ’40s, but which doesn’t get a lot of love these days. It pairs nicely here with the red accents and along with NOMOS’s modern design it avoids looking antiquated in any way. Only 15 pieces will be produced with this dial, making it the more limited of the two pieces here. Each is individually numbered “X/15” at the bottom of the caseback too.

Moving to the more familiar, there is the version with the traditional silver-plated dial. This still has all the red accents and Singapore on the city ring, but it has a slightly more low-key look overall. There will be 35 total pieces in this configuration, and again they are individually numbered “x/35” on the rear.
